Master of Applied Science [M.ASc] [Engineering Project Management] From School of Higher Technology, University of Quebec

• The objective of this program is to train engineers, practitioners of the applied sciences and professionals working in an environment where engineering activities predominate.
• It provides them with essential training in engineering project management and the methodology required to apply it according to the state of the art.
• It aims to develop the strategic level management skills required to design, conduct and complete engineering projects on time, at the budgeted cost, meeting the specifications and with respect for people, the environment and quality standards. In addition, it includes a final project that gives the student an opportunity to synthesize all the knowledge acquired.

Program Structure

• 1 mandatory 3-hour long workshop (0 credit)
• 2 mandatory activities (6 credits)
• 3 optional activities (totalling at least 9 credits)
• 1 thesis (30 credits)

The project includes a set of activities carried out under the direction of a professor: bibliographic research, theoretical development and experimental realization, drafting the thesis and making an oral presentation. The completion of all these activities requires at least 1350 hours of work.
