The PhD program in computer engineering aims to train graduates with a high level of knowledge, intellectual rigor, scientific curiosity and creativity needed in advanced professional activities as well as in scientific research and university education.More specifically, the program is designed to enable the student to integrate knowledge related to the five areas of interest in computer engineering, namely: software engineering, embedded systems engineering, networking and mobile computing, intelligent systems engineering, engineering of digital simulation systems and visualization. The program also develops computer engineering skills to evolve in a context of rapid change in information technology.
