Dislikes:

  • The tuition fee is exceedingly too expensive for international students, it’s impossible to live on campus due to the high cost of living and expensive rent. null

Course Curriculum

9

The course curriculum and academics were challenging but provided accurate insights into the professional world, exposing us to lots of opportunities for professional and academic growth.

Fees

A year for an international student was roughly around $50,000 (about $23-20,000 CAD per semester).

Dislikes:

  • Firstly, the lack of vibrant events and social events on campus has left me yearning for a more engaging atmosphere that fosters student connections and memorable experiences. null
  • Secondly, it is disheartening to see some professors receiving consistently poor reviews from students yet remaining in their positions without any discernible improvement. This raises concerns about the university's commitment to maintaining a high standard of teaching and ensuring student satisfaction. null
  • Additionally, the inadequacy of transit facilities poses a significant inconvenience for students, making commuting to and from the campus a challenging aspect of university life. null
  • Lastly, in today's rapidly evolving business landscape, it is crucial for universities to offer a diverse range of courses that are relevant and up-to-date. The absence of new business-related courses that address the latest industry trends and challenges leaves students feeling ill-prepared for the real world upon graduation. null

Course Curriculum

5

In my opinion, the courses being taught are outdated and irrelevant in today's world. The course curriculum is along the same wavelength as it was 50 years ago. While there are some business trips and research experience, it is not as much as it should be.

Fees

40000 CAD.

There wasn't much of industrial exposure or research experience. This is a professional course and most of it was classroom based except for few industry visits.

Fees

It was around 54000 CAD for tuition fees paid in three terms. I think it might be increased this year. Totally not worth it.

The course syllabus is interesting and really enjoyable. It focuses on providing us with an understanding rather than just ratifications.

I choose this University because I wanted to pursue my masters in Canada and also because it was reasonable and well reputed in Canada.

Hello. I am Grace Idachaba from Nigeria. I have completed my bachelors of science in Nursing (4 year course) in Norther Cyprus. I graduated in July of 2023. I have no other experience apart from the internship placements we had during our time in school. This is due to the language barrier we face here (Turkish). Am I still elidgible to apply for the MSc in Nursing program at UBC?
