It's one of the best research universities in Canada and has a really diverse student body. The scholarship was also an added incentive, but the beautiful campus, and the engaging community within, had appealed to me already before I found out about the scholarship.
- The Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering is a 4-year program at the University of British Columbia(UBC).
- Students will learn how to develop, design, and test software, computer networks, and protocols.
- Every automated device has a software or hardware engineer helping to create it – whether it is the systems that control the phones, cars, planes, or robots.
- Computer Engineering consists of three eight-month academic sessions either first-year Engineering or a transfer program from the first-year science.
- The second-year is common to both Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering.
- The student to faculty ratio is 18:1 which resolves the interaction problem.
- The University of British Columbia ranked as the 45th best university in the world in the QS World University Rankings.
