  • It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
  • The Undergraduate Program at DeGroote helps students develop a solid understanding of business functions and relationships.
  • Students get the opportunity to choose between the Commerce program and the Honours Commerce program. Students in these programs who qualify can also take advantage of internship opportunities.

  • There are several professional designations that Students can work towards during their undergraduate degree. This means taking course work to qualify for designation in CFA, CPA, CHRP, and BTM Certification.
  • The program is accrediated by AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).
  • However, after completing the third year of the program, students can choose to enhance their education by doing an internship.
  • The internship will provide the opportunity to gain 12-16 months of paid work experience to students with an average monthly salary of $3,329 and a valuable work experience.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

  • Students have to complete a minimum of a 2 or 3-year diploma degree from a recognized university.
  • Students have a cumulative GPA of at least 80% or better.
  • Students have successfully completed two of the following Ontario (or equivalent) English (ENG4U) and Maths courses: Grade 12 Advanced Functions U Grade 12 Calculus and Vectors U.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

  • Students must have 5 subjects of Class XII including all mandatory prerequisites for the selected program.
  • The student's average is calculated on Grade XII Predicted grades.
  • Students are eligible to apply if they have the following documents: Class X board results, Class XI transcript, and Class XII predicted grades.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
