Four courses from student's department and other four required to be taken in the 1st or 2nd semester. Courses are well structured and strengthens the foundation. Faculty: student is also quite well. I would say the course curriculum was upto my expectations. There are several curr. courses one can chose from. There is an option of Co Op but is mostly limited to students with experience. Research takes place is Applied Science programs.

The MAC program is a mixture of business studies and MS in computer science. It's like an entrepreneurship program. I would say that the MAC program is very keenly designed and if you focus well, you learn a lot and would be able to implement your knowledge when you enter the Canadian corporate world. It's like a summary of a Bachelor in computer science but more focus is given to project management and development. The reason is, we do have a very good team of developers in India but we have fewer good managers here and that's what the companies seek. And MAC program focuses on this more rather than just making you a postgraduate in CS.
