- The Juris Doctor is a 3-years full-time program at the University of Windsor.
- The program is on the basis of a full-time(3-years) or part-time (6-years).
- This program gives students an opportunity to enhance their understanding and knowledge in Law.
- The main topics of first-year are:

- Contracts
- Access to Justice
- Criminal Law and Procedure
- Legal Writing and Research
- Constitutional Law
- Indigenous Legal Traditions
- Civil Procedure is the only required course in the second year
- In either the second or third year, each student must complete the following courses:
- The Legal Professions
- Administrative Law
- Torts
- Students must also complete a research paper worth at least 50% of the grade in any course, one course from a group of courses that give a perspective of the legal process and legal theory and one course from a group of transnational law.
