- The campus life is diverse and lots of options for clubs courses, etc.
- The teaching staff, is really helpful and friendly.
Dislikes
- Housing crisis, the long waiting list for on-campus housing.
- Gyms can be crowded sometimes.
Required Exams for Admission
The factors that drove me to UBC were obviously good education, but apart from that it was the lively campus life that UBC provides and of course the beautiful campus.
Course Curriculum
It's updated towards today's trends and they hold a lot of networking events which is nice.
Faculty
I am not sure of the ratio, but Miss Czerpak for comm196 is very nice and a great teacher.
Campus Life
Library is very nice and big and the campus life is very diverse, a lots of clubs.
Placement
I am not sure about this. but I think many students do get good jobs.
Accommodation
The dorm rooms were pretty good but not great per term is around 2400 CAD. There are single rooms and shared rooms.
Exams
- My score was IELTS 7.0, no SATs required or any other tests. - I was in an IB school and I got 36/42 points, I am not sure about the percentage. - Requirements: I had to submit 2 LoRs, and I had to send in my recorded interview.
Fees
Per year is around 34 lacs. So my program is for 4 years.
