- Low tuition cost was the main choice and PR in the providence of PEI.
Required Exams for Admission
I feel trapped and the university doesn’t even have a great value of education. It’s like studying in India itself except it gets you a PR. It’s best to come after bachelors that too in bigger cities like Toronto for the best experience. Here it’s way too cold, you got to walk a lots, no bus on weekends so again stuck where you are. It’s tuff.
Course Curriculum
The courses are designed in a way that they offer certain courses in only one semester so if you come in fall, you cannot choose a lot of major courses and end up spending in electives. You wait around a whole year for one course which is dumb. Otherwise it’s okay.
Faculty
It’s low, 17:1 I guess as it’s a small university so you know your professor but they don’t help you much either, you get your way around by yourself so yeah isn’t that great of a deal.
Campus Life
The campus life isn’t fun either, there’s no place at residence and the residence fee is higher than even the tuition of a year which again dumb. There’s like a few events only Indian society organize and that’s it no fun. The library is huge but for undergrad again so useful resources or course related books only for masters which again is not there in psychology. The wifi barely works around the campus it’s only in building so you can’t go out you’re stuck.
Placement
It’s not that great either you got to do everything yourself and the island has no good job opportunities so yeah.
Accommodation
The residence is $875 which is shared with one other roommate and the whole apartment is shared among 4 people. If you live off campus for around $600 you can basically get a single apartment so yeah expensive and $300 deposit and 8 months contract. If you wanna leave the residence you pay 50% fine so again dumb.
Exams
My scores are IELTS 7.5, L- 8.5, W-7.5, Reading-7 and Speaking 7 that’s it and other tests were not required. I had to submit my SOP only which I wrote stating I will return back.
Fees
It’s $16,000 for international students.
