What Students Say
Likes
- The classes were smaller which made it feel like an easier transition into university. I could also get more one on one help with the professors. It is also a teaching focused institution so I felt I would get a good quality education.
Honestly great! I think the University is very beautiful and the students are super kind and humble which is a huge plus! The staff have been great as well always going above and beyond to help you with what you need.
Course Curriculum
I have not been given any industrial exposure or research experience yet but I do feel that what I am learning would be very relevant towards research or towards a good career.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is pretty good there is enough faculty for students to access. Most of the faculty I have met have been amazing people. Two professors that have really left an incredible impact on me was my Math 114 teacher Ion Bica and my Chem 101 teacher Caitlyn Towle.
Campus Life
Amazing there are so many clubs to join and events happening all the time that are very fun!
Placement
I believe they are pretty good I am just starting my second year so I am not entirely sure about this but from other students I have heard that it is very good!
Accommodation
The accommodations have been amazing in my experience! I always go to them to write my midterms and finals and I find I get more time and am able to relax and do well on the exam that I am writing!
Exams
Over 80s in required High School classes. The required high school classes were biology 30, chemistry 30, math 31, English 30 and social studies 30-1. Didn’t have to submit any just had to submit my high school transcript.
Fees
I think the total tuition fees is about $6-8thousand a year not including spring or summer courses. I found the tuition to be slightly cheaper than other universities so that has also been a great bonus!
