- The course offered here was align to my interest. I wanted to study the course which will have a good effect on my resume.
- The course was well designed and all faculties were very helpful. All the study material were up to date and all of the labs were aligned to real life applications.
Dislikes
- Nothing, it is good college and course is also good. Although winter can be tough for some students as the school is located in northern part of Ontario. But it wasn’t that bad for me, as I like cold places. In fact we get free bus passes for the duration of course so I think it’s good in terms of saving money."
The school is good, lot of opportunities to explore jobs. Even good jobs available on campus. Up to date PC and labs. Everyone has their own set of equipment and materials, no need of sharing with others. Latest tech labs and PC systems so that learning is fast and fun.
Course Curriculum
The course syllabus is pretty updated and all materials are top quality state of art.
Exams
IELTS and Bachelor Degree was required. I got 7.5 band in IELTS. No other requirements. Yes I submitted all of the above documents CV , SOP and LOR.
Placement
The college have dedicated staff and people to help in your job search and building resume. They have many other benefits as well, like they know people in the field from the background you might wanna join. For co-op they help students to find jobs but I am not sure as I didn’t had any co-op.
Internship
Well co-op and internship wasn’t part of my course, but I applied for it and I was doing internship in my summer break so that it can help me achieve my dream and helpful in CV.
Fees
Semester 1-2 fee were around 9200$. Semester 3 fee was around 9700$ And semester 4 fee was around 9000$
Scholarship
I got 2 scholarships in semester 2 and 3 respectively.
Faculty
Usually a class is of 10-15 students. All faculty have pretty good background in the subject they are teaching. Some of them even have their own company which they operate in parallel with teaching.
Campus Life
The campus is pretty big in Thunder Bay. There are many events from the campus each month and they really want all of the students to participate and enjoy the event. Many free food and free gifts for all students.
Hostel
Thunder Bay is not to costly place in terms of rent. So I had private room from start till end, also I used to work with college so I had privilege to earn some extra money so it wasn’t issue for me.
