The Health Informatics course at GBC is one of its kind. it had everything, right from business analysis and project management to various courses related to health infrastructure in Canada. The best part at GBC was their rich faculty member they are people working in the industry giving some real insights and knowledge about the course. Which not only equipped me with knowledge but, also made me job ready. GBC has tie-ups with several organizations and provide free membership to their students to make utmost use of the resources which ideally one would have to pay for in real life. I am proud to say that I graduated from GBC.
the total tuition fees for my course was $17000 exclusive of accommodation.
The curriculum includes everything necessary to get into the industry. The course is also revised every few years with the help of industry professionals which reduces the gap between educational institutes and workplaces. Professors are polite, well-learned, and approachable. We also have an opportunity to participate in competitions held for students by Video game companies. The exposure to the industry is high. Practical knowledge is the only thing we are given here. We don't have theoretical, written exams. We are supposed to work directly on software and are supposed to submit the work files to get reviewed and marked.
It is around 18k Canadian Dollars for one year. The program is 3 years long.
My course is very practical and hands on. The teachers are all industry professionals and hence the lectures are in the evening at around 6 on weekdays and in morning during weekends. It definitely prepares you for industry entry level.
Fees - 16,500 - 17,000 CAD / Year + 500 CAD for Coop Cost of Living: (Food + Rent + Mobile Bill + Miscellaneous) Lower end - 150 + 350 + 40 + 50 CAD Higher end - 200 + 750 + 70 + 100 CAD
It's a very well elaborate course. Mandatory co-op helps students get an internship and after the course, the internship can be a full-time job. Teachers from the university of Toronto are a plus point.
7550-8200 CAD per Semester.
