This two- year certificate focuses on the in-demand field of project management and explores foundational standards and practice guide frameworks prescribed by the Project Management Institute (PMI). In this program students will build technical skills, business strategy knowledge, and leadership skills necessary to excel in today’s workforce.

Humber's Project Management Ontario College Graduate Certificate program prepares you to manage complex projects and programs. Given the recognition that project management skills and competencies have to the success of all organizations, this program attracts candidates from diverse backgrounds and industries.

In just two semesters, you will learn the skills needed to move a project through conceptualization, initiation, planning, execution, control and closing. You will thoroughly explore the key stages of the project life cycle, project economics and financial analysis, risk and stakeholder management, and professional best practices through a comprehensive project delivery model. You will also learn the importance of people, processes, and business/strategic alignment to project success. Students also learn about the adaptive/agile approach to product management and the various framework that fall under the agile umbrella.

For those pursuing a certificate in project management, Cambrian College’s one-year (two semester) Project Management – Graduate Certificate program will provide you with the essential theoretical and practical knowledge, skills, and techniques to successfully plan, implement, manage, and evaluate projects. Graduates will have all the tools for project management they need to succeed in the workplace.

Applicants must be graduates of a diploma, advanced diploma, or degree program from an Ontario College or equivalent.

OR

Applicant must possess five years of work experience in a related field (or combination of education and work experience) as judged by the College to be equivalent. Applicants must submit a resume detailing their related experience and a cover letter outlining their competencies and preparedness for the program (any and all postsecondary transcripts must still be submitted).
