How to Pay Fees at the University of Wollongong
All fee payments at UOW are managed through the SOLS (Student Online Services) portal, supported by international payment partners. New international students must pay the amount stated in their Offer Letter before they can enrol and obtain their CoE.

- The professor that I wanted to do my PhD research with was located in this university.
- The facilities are great, the administration is approachable and very helpful, research facilities are best-in-class, has a phenomenal gym and recreation facility, is home to some very influential professors that are known worldwide.
Dislikes
- The tuition fee is exhorbitant for international students. If you are not there with a scholarship or a grant, it can prove difficult for you. In general, living and studying in Australia is quite expensive.

I had a rewarding research experience. Also learnt many things the hard way, as it often happens during doctoral research. Was able to successfully obtain a doctoral degree.

Course Curriculum
The projects under my PhD supervisor were mainly industry oriented. The research topics were offered to students on the basis of the challenges faced by the railway industry. For those associated with Industry linkage projects, like myself, we had to present our findings to the industry in the form of progress meetings. This provided me with an opportunity to interact with practicing engineers.
