- Sustainable systems engineering brings together the new technologies and innovative engineering approaches needed for sustainable global development.
- Meeting the future needs and challenges of sustainability will require a comprehensive design approach, with a focus on whole-of-system requirements, and an understanding of lifecycle.
- In the final year of studies students will undertake a major project that is either industry-based or simulates an industrial situation. Combining and further developing the key theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for field - as defined by Engineers Australia - work with industry leaders to solve a project challenge.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
Following are the requirements for this program:
- Students must have successfully completed an Australian Year 12 (or equivalent senior secondary school qualification) with a minimum 65% average
- Mathematics; or
- VCE Units 3 and 4 in Mathematics (any), with a study score of at least 20.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must have successfully completed an Intermediate (or equivalent senior secondary school qualification) with a minimum 65% average
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
