Yes, they take u through all the required credentials for the course and you also have saved lectures online to access whenever required.
Tuition fee: 108000
Due to pandemic I completed by 1st year online but the way they were teaching was pretty fascinating didn't look like its online lectures . . Assignments were all like that you are working in a company. Unlike the Indian education system, the Australian education system was totally different. Here the majority of the knowledge you gained from doing assignments and all knowledge you gain is new and latest.
There are several reasons behind accepting the offer. Firstly, the location that is gold coast such an exquisite place having pleasant weather all over the year. Secondly, GC is the tourist place so getting a job will be a bit easier in comparison to other states. Lastly, Griffith university was famous for the course which I am pursuing and it is the most important reason among all.
The Bachelor of Psychology Honours program is rigorous and relevant to the mental health industry. The school offers students with plenty industrial exposure in the form of workshops and opportunities to become registered mental healthcare workers. The lectures make use of tutors to help students consolidate their learning and help with assignments. We also have Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) where previous successfull students help current student learn the material. We have opportunities to conduct our own research in the form of assignments and are even given opportunities to become research assistants or tutors with the university - the only requirements are a current background and police check, high GPA (above 6/7) and working with childrens check. The course helps studenrs evaluate and understand tests that measure intellectual, behavioural, and emotional states, and to apply psychological theories to areas such as thinking and perception, stress, health, criminal activity and group behaviour.
I chose the Bachelor of Psychology (Hons.) Program at Griffith University as the cost of the course for international students is more affordable when compared to other universities in Australia. The course is highly regarded in the country as one of the best schools to offer APAC registered psychology courses. The university has plenty support systems such as international student advisors and griffith mates which helps nee students integrate into the community and get to know other new students and the country. These support systems aided in my decision making process of chosing a university.
Most classes were 20-1 faculty. Most classes were practical assignments, lectures, and workshops/tutorials. Most tutorials were done by Ph.D. students. Lecturers by Ph.D. professors.
Fee structure. most courses are 1k each. there are scholarships available if you're poor if you have good grades, etc. I genuinely don't know any more information about international students other than the classes are much more expensive for international students. Research the courses, and the money requirements for living there.
The course curriculum covers a good range of subjects with specialty options as you progress through the degree. There were some unnecessary subjects which we had to do, they were a waste of money and time though.
We have the option of receiving HECS fee assistance. This is where we get a loan and don t have to pay our uni debt back until we earn over a certain amount. Our fees are by the subject and can be around 600-$700 per subject. We do 8 per year for a full-time load.
The course curriculum is really good, each trimester flows nicely from one to the other. However placement facilitators could be more organised. Overall the course is great and easy to understand the staff are fantastic.
The fees can be paid upfront or use other help such as HECS help which you repay via tax. Other charges include the service fees which aren't that expensive.
The course itself is very well thought out with a wide array of subjects. It heavily incorporates practical learning while still teaching the theory and knowledge necessary for the profession. The course allows for flexibility through majors and electives.
The fee structure is under a Band structure that separates degrees and courses into certain 'Band' levels which determine their price points. There is a government cap in place on the fees associated with the university, which may be deferred to later payment under the HECS help scheme. There is then a student service and amenities fee charged every semester.
I chose this college because of its wide range of courses I can choose between and the ability to merge some degrees within each other. At some colleges, they only have degrees such as law but at Griffith, they have degrees that you can merge such as law and politics.
The fees are paid per trimester at college. Each course is a bit different but mine is roughly $10,000 a year
It's not set out easily, you can pick and choose when to do specific classes but if you fail you have to redo it which may influence other future class choices especially if you have to get a high amount of credit points per year like I do for my course.
We are charged per course, they also charged a student fee in a lump sum for the whole year for services that the university offers to students for free like the doctors and free food days and guidance counselors and stuff like that.
