Course Curriculum

8

  • As it is not a class-based course, I am not in a position to give details on this.

Admission Experience

  • I chose it due to the research lab and the environment. Especially the PhD (Agriculture) is best in this University as it trains the students to the highest level.

Faculty

10

  • Not sure about the student ratio. The faculty and staff are top-class with plenty of experience in their field of expertise.

Campus Life

10

  • There are lots of campuses around Victoria. A rural campus dedicated to agriculture in Dookie. As a multicultural campus, the University has diverse clubs and events that happen throughout the year. Has a world class sporting, research, and library facilities.

Part Time Jobs

  • Typically, the students get a starting package of 65000 AUD per year. As PHD student, we can work unlimited. Also, during the PhD, I could work as a research assistant, earning 50 AUD per hour.

Placement

8

  • We are in demand for Agricultural Scientists and consultants. This course is in demand.

Accommodation

Off Campus
6

  • I am renting a townhouse. Monthly rent is 2064 per month. It is a bit high as I received a stipend and an extra scholarship. I used TenantApp to find the house.

Exams

  • My scores: IELTS 7.5, GPA 9.5, Research experience, publications. Expected: IELTS 6.5, GPA 9.0, Research experience, publications (optional).
  • We need IELTS, a CV, a support letter from a supervisor, transcripts, and reference letters

Fees

  • No fees for me. Usually PhD are offered with a fully funded scholarship with a stipend
