The two year Program will either begin in late August or early September, and has the following goals for its students:
- To achieve a level of competency in health sciences informatics that generalizes across domains of application
- To develop proficiency in public health informatics
- To increase knowledge of fields related to health sciences informatics such as computer science, biostatistics, and evaluation methodology
- To observe and participate in collaborative research and development activities in public health informatics
- To make a contribution to the field of informatics by completing a research project
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must complete a 4-year bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
- Students must complete their higher education.
- A GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required to be eligible for the program.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Or, students completed higher education with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Submission of GRE exam scores is not compulsory but helps for a better chance of admission.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.

If you have completed a bachelor’s degree at a college/university in a country where the official language is not English, but where the sole/primary language of instruction, writing, and testing is English are exempted from submitting a valid ELP test score.
