The Department of Chemistry administers a master's program with thesis and non-thesis options. The program awards an MSc in Chemistry with specializations in the following areas: Biochemistry, Organic/Medicinal, Analytical Chemistry, and  Physical Computational. A Bioinformatics option is available in each of the areas.

Students seeking graduate admission at Georgia State University must have an average GPA of 3.45 on a scale of 4.0 or 87% and above from a recognized university. You will not be considered for admission if you do not meet the minimum GPA requirement.
