Within the physics department, we offer degrees in classical physics,?physics with teaching certification and?engineering.?

Our faculty participate actively in many diverse fields of research including rocketry, geophysics, astrophysics, robotics, atomic and molecular physics and aerodynamics. Faculty incorporate student research as an integral element of each project. In addition, our department encourages outreach and public education by providing public planetarium shows and volunteering in local schools.??
