Rolling admissions. Admission of applicants for fall semester begins on July 1 of the preceding year and are encouraged to apply during the fall of the preceding year of their entry to university. Admission for other terms begins approximately 12 months prior to the beginning of the term.

This program is the first of its kind in Iowa, and one of 10 in the Midwest. Your coursework will prepare you to understand user needs, assess technical feasibility, and evaluate commercial viability. With a degree in industrial design you will have the opportunity to further your education in graduate school or find employment in design consulting and manufacturing.
