- MS with thesis programs in Biomedical Sciences offers four different areas of specialization:
- Anatomy
- Physiology
- Pharmacology
- Cell Biology
- Graduate students take classes, serve as teaching assistants, and conduct research alongside faculty.
- The MS with thesis program is typically two years long, and the Ph.D. program is often four to five years.
- The core curriculum includes 30 credit hours.
- This program is designed to expand upon undergraduate coursework in the science field.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants must hold a BS degree in the biological or physical sciences or a DVM degree from an accredited institution in the US or an approved institution overseas.
- A highly recommended undergraduate course: anatomy, physiology, cellular and molecular biology, physics, chemistry, biochemistry, and calculus is required.
- A GPA equivalent to 3.0/4.0 or above is required.
Indian Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
