Students are also encouraged to undertake a three-month industrial internship for hands-on experience. With strong connections to industry leaders like Intel, GM, Sandia National Labs, and Samsung, and with access to funding through assistantships and fellowships, graduates of the program are well-prepared for high-impact careers in manufacturing, research, and leadership roles. University of New Mexico accepts almost all English proficiency exams, such as IELTS,TOEFL and PTE for international students admission. Indian students with excellent scores are eligible for the International Amigo Scholarship offers $15000 annually.
