As Regent?s most transfer-friendly degree program, the B.S. in Professional Studies accepts more transfer credits than other majors, making it the ideal choice for adult learners and military personnel. Build upon essential General Education core knowledge in communication, leadership, management, critical thinking and problem solving ? all from a?Christian perspective. Through the Information Systems Technology concentration, you will learn scientific, technological and mathematical concepts that expand your career opportunities in the growing field of technology.
- Learn key principles in programming, systems security and project management.
- Understand data structures and algorithms, as well as LANs, MANs, WANs, and other networking fundamentals so that you can install, configure and integrate various technologies.
- Choose coursework from eCommerce and database fundamentals to contingency planning and network defense, according to your area of interest.
- Apply existing college and military credit to fast track your degree completion.
- Determine if your credits earned at another institution will transfer.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit unofficial transcripts of all the previous education completed
- Official transcripts will be required after conditional acceptance
- Official transcripts need to be evaluated by a NACES accredited university
- Complete the required admissions questionnaire
- Submit official test scores of SAT/ACT
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 90 in iBT; 233 in CBT; 577 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum 7
- PTE: minimum 61
- Duolingo: minimum 115
