The new major, Medical Molecular Biology (MMB) gives special emphasis on human health and study of biological processes at a molecular level. ?This major is designed to equip students to be competitive applicants who desire to pursue a career in medicine (M.D. / D.O.).biology.
?Pre-Medical Concentration?and Health Professionals Concentration
Admission to medical, dental and most other health profession schools in the United States is very selective. Only students with excellent grades and admission test scores, knowledge of their health profession and in most cases, health care experience are being admitted. ORU offers several pre-professional programs in the health sciences including pre-medical, pre-dentistry, pre-optometry, pre-veterinary, pre-pharmacy, pre-physical therapy and pre-sports medicine.?
