The basic program is four academic years in length. Qualified licensed LPNs may receive 18 hours of college credit for required coursework.
Clinical placements for nursing students are located throughout the Northeast region of the state. It is likely that you will be asked to commute to at least one clinical site outside of Topeka.
Graduates of the program are prepared as generalists in nursing and may function in a variety of nursing roles. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to sit for the National Licensing Examination (NCLEX) to be licensed as a registered nurse.
