Students in the program?complete three years of basic science and pre-clinical course work. They apply in the fall of their junior years to the clinical portion of the program. Acceptance into the clinical year is competitive.
Medical technologists conduct medical tests and procedures in hematology, clinical chemistry, molecular diagnostics, microbiology, parasitology, blood banking, urinalysis and other areas. They deliver precise, reliable results to physicians to ensure correct diagnoses and appropriate treatments.
