- Actuarial mathematics is the science of evaluating the likelihood of future events and managing risk.
- By studying actuarial science at Missouri State University, students can prepare for their actuarial exams and also get experience working in risk management. Because of the diversity of the University’s mathematics program, students pursuing actuarial mathematics can get exposure to other types of mathematics.
