Students can choose an emphasis in either design and production or merchandising, which focuses on business aspects. Students will gain great hands-on experience as they learn about the changing fashion needs of clients, the industry, and the world.
- A Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising and Design is a great way to find a student's place as a business leader within the dynamic world of fashion. Students may choose an emphasis in either merchandising and management or fashion design and product development.
- MSU offers the option to specialize in fashion design and product development. As a designer, students will take their ideas from the drawing board to the runway. Past graduates with this emphasis are successfully employed as pattern makers, designers, and visual merchandisers.
