The?Mechanical Engineering program is designed for students interested in the application of physical science techniques to solve problems involving thermal and mechanical energy conversion for the public good. Our students are prepared for graduate study or careers in transportation systems, industrial machinery, heavy equipment, medical equipment, aircraft and rockets. Design is a integral part of the curriculum and is introduces in the first semester and is carried through to the senior year with the capstone project.
