Students will receive advanced French credit for such courses taken elsewhere, but the course will not be designated as FREN 3301 unless they take the final exam for FREN 3301 and receive at least a "C." FREN 3305 and FREN 3306 are also required. The major also requires one of the following additional requirements: 9 additional semester hours of upper division courses in French; or the lower division courses, or the equivalent, and at least 3 semester hours of upper division courses in a second foreign language.
