The bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) program is designed for the registered nurse who wishes to advance his or her knowledge in nursing, the sciences, and the liberal arts. The program helps the registered nurse develop analytic and communication skills for professional excellence.

The BSN curriculum focuses on holistic health promotion for the individual student, the profession, the individual client, the family, groups, and the community. There is a strong emphasis on the nurse's personal development, the needs and future of the profession, and the broad, accountable nursing role that is needed and expected by today's health care consumer. The program prepares the registered nurse for generalist nursing practice.
