Not everybody get student aid if the person having best grades may also get lesser student aid compared to campus toppers sometimes.
As it is private university tuition fee is more compared to other public universities.
As saint louis is more populated by most of minorities Americans lot of people take car parts which is theft, happens even inside the campus as well.

As Indian Representation: In most STEM and business-related graduate programmes, Indian students make up a significant portion—around 25–40% of the class depending on the programme. Class Size for Graduate programmes: Typically 15–30 students per class.
Course Curriculum & Learning Approach are Difficulty Level: Moderate to challenging, which is completely different from the Indian education System.
Learning Style: A balanced mix of theoretical and practical learning.
Theory related I can say : Strong foundational concepts in computer science are machine learning, web development, Artificial Intelligence, Computer networks, computer vision neural networks, etc.
for Practical we have : Regular labs, real-world projects, case studies, and team assignments using tools like Python, R, SQL, Tableau, ML, etc.
Capstone Projects or applied research, are often a part of the final in each subject in every semester.
Positive Aspects of the Course
Hands-on exposure with tools like Python, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, TensorFlow etc.
Access to research opportunities, hackathons, and external data challenges. they have
Internship assistance through the Career Services Centre for resume and CV writing assistance.
Negative Aspects of the Course
Some courses can be heavily theory-orientated, especially in the first semester. Availability of electives can sometimes be limited. Course registration is competitive; you need to plan your schedule early. Lab access or TA support may vary between departments. For some students, adjusting to self-paced learning and tight deadlines is challenging.
Fees
My tuition fee which includes books and everything for my programme, Computer Science, is $45000. Each semester i paid $10000 for the program, which is cut down into 4 semesters, and I received $5000 scholarship student AID.
The on-campus housing costs $1000 a month, but i preferred to stay off-campus, which costs me $600-700 every month, including rent, groceries, gas, water, trash, electricity, and WIFI.
Facilities that university provide are top notch and easy to accessible.
Faculty and staff are very friendly to clear your doubts either with studies or any other related issues.
Library is the most useful place I have been there it has all sort of resources.
Dislikes
University doesn't have enough funds for providing research opportunities.
Some of the required text books will not be available in the library.
Most of the times university doesn't provide any of the paid software which are mandatory to complete that course.

My course is easy for me as I just concentrate on the studies.
The positive aspects are we can get into different kind of jobs that can be either managing positions or coding positions as our program has both type of courses in it.
Fees
My full fee is 42000$ for my entire master's degree in Information Systems Major excluding the hostel and other charges as I am living off-campus.
Each semester I will get charged with almost 9000$ and it varies from student to student based on the credit hours they got registered. Saint Louis University charges fee semester-wise as long as you didn't take any extra courses than you supposed to do.
My monthly expenditure including all utilities, grocery and rent is around 600$.
Campus facilities like free entry to the sports complex and indoor pool 365 days.
Coursework is advanced and different from Health Informatics in other universities.
Dislikes
Getting paid less for the TA and RA positions and there's no reduction in tuition fee for TA and RA positions.
Less interaction between instructor and student outside the classroom hours. Occasional events to break the ice would have improved interaction among students and instructors.
Coursework is designed to be future ready but they haven't focused on current market requirements.

If I had to rate the difficulty level of the program out of 10 I would rate it a solid 10 because the coursework involves learning R and Python programming languages. Since I and a majority of other students come from a healthcare background like B Pharm, Pharm D, BDS, MBBS, Nursing, and Nutrition it is hard for us to adapt to the coding subjects. The positive aspect is that the professors make it easy for us by explaining the coding part from basics but they expect us to know the general analysis and statistics which they haven't mentioned during admission webinars.
Fees
Tuition fees for Health Data Science were $1220 per credit and there are 30 credits in total. So the total cost for 30 credits will be $36,600/-. Per semester you will be enrolling for 6 credits so every semester you have to pay $7320/-. The university offers multiple payment methods. You can pay the whole semester tuition fees in whichever amount you can multiple times with a nominal extra charge of $70/- or in equal installments for some percentage as a nominal interest on the semester fees.
Coming to the monthly living expenses, St. Louis's cost of living is approximately 5% less than the national average in the USA. You can rent a studio for $1000/-, a 1BHK for $1100/- to 1300/-, a 2BHK for $1400/- to 1800/-, and a 3BHK for $1600/- to $2200/- close to campus in areas like Central West End, Lindell Blvd., West Pine Blvd., Westminster Pl., or someplace else in the suburbs like Creve Coeur, Maryland Heights, Chesterfield, or Manchester.
Food and other groceries might cost you between USD 70/- and USD 150/- per person per month if you are living in a shared apartment. Always make sure to ask the leasing office for what amenities are included and what are not included in the leasing agreement. If you are living near the campus, there is no need to spend on transportation as the university issues free bus passes. Even though you don't have a bus pass, you end up paying $1/- per ride from anywhere to anywhere in St. Louis.
Saint Louis University is renowned for its academic reputation, diverse campus life, and hands-on learning opportunities, making it an attractive choice for many students. If the program aligns with your career goals and interests, it could be a great fit for you.
What I like about Saint Louis University is its vibrant campus life, diverse community, and supportive faculty. The university offers rigorous academics, ample opportunities for extracurricular involvement, and a strong sense of community. Additionally, the campus facilities and resources contribute to a conducive learning environment, making it an enriching experience overall.
Dislikes
Overall, there isn't much to dislike about Saint Louis University. However, some students may find the cost of tuition to be a drawback, and others might feel that certain facilities could be improved. Nonetheless, these are minor concerns compared to the overall positive experience the university provides.

The Informatics Systems course curriculum at Saint Louis University is typically well-updated and relevant to industry needs. Students often benefit from both theoretical knowledge and practical experience through projects and internships, providing valuable industrial exposure. Additionally, opportunities for research experience can further enhance students' skills and knowledge in the field.
The course I choose is available at limited colleges only and this college has a really good name. The expenses at the place is economical and budget friendly. Moreover I also got the scholarship. These reasons made me to choose this university.
First thing about the positives of the college that I like is the location. The college is located at the centre of the city which makes it easy to commute. The curriculum provided by the college is really flexible and the staff are really friendly. There are very supportive international ambassasdors to help you to customize your courses. One really good thing about the Saint Louis University is they provide free cabs to the students who live around the campus after 6:00 pm.
Dislikes
One bad thing about Saint Louis University is its crime rate.Since it is located near the downtown, one should be really careful at the surroundings. The other thing I dislike about this college is the fee waiver. In other colleges if you get a TA position, your fee will be waived for that semester but in SLU, we don't have that kind of fee waivers. Apart from these, I feel the college is really good.

Course curriculum is really flexible. Coming to my course which is MS in Information Systems, we discuss many real life scenarios of different companies and their strategies etc. We have given a good amount of research experience as we are supposed to choose a company and need to do our research on different aspects of the company.
Fees
Total fee for my program is 8000$ per semester which is 32,000$ for the entire Masters program.
