Bachelor of Science [B.S] [Neuroscience] From Saint Louis University

If you choose to major in neuroscience as an undergraduate at SLU, you’ll learn the basic science of brain function, along with how to apply that knowledge to research in medicine, psychology and biology. You’ll also gain an understanding of psychiatric, neurological and developmental disorders of the brain and behavior.

Students who graduate with a degree in neuroscience from SLU have a strong outlook for future employment. You will be able to find work in industries such as medicine, veterinary medicine, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, education, computer science and artificial intelligence.

An undergraduate degree in neuroscience also provides a solid base for students interested in attending graduate school or working in fields related to psychology, biology, chemistry, physics, biomedical engineering, law, medicine or philosophy.

All neuroscience majors are assigned mentors with whom they will meet every year. Your mentor will help you select your classes and ensure you are on track for graduation.
