The?BA in pre-art conservation program?was developed observing the American Institute for Conservation guidelines and offers you intense training in chemistry, materials science, studio art, and art history, as well as practical application in internships and abroad.
After you complete the program, you will be prepared for graduate study or for work in the field of arts material and safety. As a pre-art conservation student, you will be provided with a broad foundation in the history of art, intimate knowledge of materials from studio courses and the material science necessary to conserve and preserve cultural heritage. Additionally, you will have built a solid foundation in the philosophy and ethics of art conservation and preservation.
