The B.S. in Earth Science Education prepares students to teach Earth and Environmental science in secondary schools (Grades 7 ? 12) in Idaho. Earth Science Education majors take science courses in geology, astronomy, chemistry, and environmental science as well as the core secondary education courses. Students also are required to complete an education minor; we recommend the Natural Science or other Science Education minor. The capstone experience is student teaching for a semester at local schools or at partner schools in Arizona, Nevada, and Utah.?
