The goal of this degree is to prepare students to pursue either graduate work or career opportunities in art-related disciplines where the B.F.A. degree and/or educational licensure is not required. These areas might include material cultural studies, forensic arts, art therapy, recreational use of art in extracurricular educational settings, or marketing and business. Students in any concentration within the art department must receive a grade of C or better in any course that counts toward the major.
