Civil engineering means tackling challenging science and engineering assignments, embracing the professional responsibility to make things better and working with people all over the world.?As a civil engineer, you will design, build, and assess airports, buildings, bridges, dams, foundations, roads, tunnels, water and wastewater systems, and many other infrastructure. Civil engineering features such specialties as structural, water resources, environmental, architectural, transportation and geotechnical and materials engineering. ?In our program, you'll develop leadership and hands-on skills through regional and national team competitions, research with faculty, and participation in national student organizations.?
