The Mass Communications - Multimedia Journalism program offered by Oklahoma City University prides itself on offering students “real world” experiences in the media, through professional internships and hands-on training on campus with the Student Publications staff and OCU-TV Channel 22.

- Learn practical skills (research, writing, editing, production) needed for success in today’s multimedia environment
- Create strategic communications campaigns for local, national and global brands
- Develop social media campaigns for clients
- Write, shoot and edit music videos, television shows and TV commercials
- Manage crisis communications for troubled businesses and host press conferences to improve media relations skills
- Learn ethical codes and guidelines from professional organizations including the Society of Professional Journalists, Radio Television Digital News Association, American Advertising Federation, and Public Relations Society of America
