In small classes taught by our accomplished faculty, students gain a deeper understanding of natural phenomena at the molecular level by examining the structures, properties and reactions of chemical elements.
Laboratory sessions teach students scientific methodology, allowing them to translate classroom theory into practical experience, and serve as the foundation for their undergraduate research projects. As an integral component of our curriculum, these projects give students the unique opportunity to not only conduct independent research with our faculty, but also learn about the dissemination of new knowledge firsthand - and often have their results published in scientific journals.
