Ball State's BFA emphasis in animation provides students with a comprehensive digital animation experience that explores traditional 2D animation and 3D animation.
The goal of the BFA animation program is to prepare students for career pursuits in industries such as film, television, video games, medical animation, architectural rendering, advertising, and product visualization. Students learn up-to-date animation techniques as well as industry-standard animation software. The animation curriculum leads students through a classic arts foundation and then into a strong technical foundation guided by industry demands. In this way, students become more creative and innovative during their senior year.
