The Master of Science in Information Systems at the University of South Alabama is a 2-year, full-time on-campus program offered by the School of Computing. Designed for students with a background in computer science or a related field, the program requires the successful completion of 30 credit hours. It combines a strong theoretical foundation in algorithms and computational processes with practical training in areas such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data, video game development, computer graphics, and robotics. Admission requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent, with a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
