Excellence and experience are keys to employment in theatre. Acting is a competitive profession. Work assignments are usually short, ranging from one day to a few months. Actors often hold other jobs to make a living. Careers in technical theatre and design are much more plentiful which is why, at Minot State University, your education requires an equal amount of performance and tech theatre courses and opportunities.
