Academic Eligibility:

•  Obtain a score of 1020 or higher on the redesigned SAT evidence-based reading and writing section .
• Obtain a score of 23 or higher Act. 
• Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.
• Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission with minimum 2.5 GPA.
• For students entering FIU as a freshman or transfer student with fewer than 60 credits

• The nutrition science track emphasizes the study of the basic sciences, biology and chemistry, and uses this foundation to build the nutrition science core curriculum.
• Students explore food, human physiology, metabolism and understand the complex relationship between nutrients/non-nutrients in foods, optimal health and disease.
