Master of Science [M.S] [Landscape Architecture] From Woodbury University

Drawing upon the landscapes unique to the international territories of the southwestern United States and northern Mexico, the program investigates the social, political, and natural ecologies that transcend geographic boundaries. In turn, the work drives global research into climate change and trans-national border conditions. Using San Diego as a testing ground, the program focuses on context and human experience to frame new modes of discovery and exchange.

The Landscape Architecture Masters program grounds an understanding of landscapes as systems, integrating nature and culture to create a hybrid form of urbanity. Tapping into San Diego?s maker movement and the character of the surrounding Barrio Logan neighborhood, the Landscape Architecture curriculum provides students with the intellectual and professional tools necessary to negotiate contemporary landscapes by embracing the surrounding locale.
