The courses offered were good and something I was interested in, the curriculum was not complicated and gave enough time to students to complete the course at their pace. Also offered summer and winter courses which were 4 weeks only.
The fees is pretty cheap compared to other universities in California, per unit fees is around $3000 which also includes all the fees for one course , so it would be around $9000 a semester if you take 3 courses. Which is not much compared to other colleges.
For the honors college, in particular, it's quite interesting. The classes are very discussion based on music or book centered around the topic of LA and either its culture or its history. The fall classes were about public speaking and a "future use" class. Basically, we prepped resumes, cover letters, made a four-year plan, learned about the campus, etc. In terms of the general classes, they are quite larger in size but still allow for one on one time if wanted.
I'm guessing this means tuition. It's fairly low compared to UCs and actually, prefer it. It's about 3,400 per semester which includes any fees imaginable. Included are fees for the ASI and any fees for use of the health departments included such as the dentist, optometrist, chiropractor, etc. Book is another fee but many teachers so far tend to not require them.
First and foremost I love the course curriculum. I've taken a list of courses in which impacted my life in a very positive way. I've learned to cope with situations and with individuals thanks to the classes I've taken.
The fees consisted of mainly student fees that break down into health fees, and many others. But it shouldn?t de this way because not everything has to get taxed.
Based on my particular major (sociology) the classes mandatory are appropriate and were challenging enough to give me the college experience I needed to complete my university student career. And actually, I hope to return to the same university to complete my masters.
The fees were based on the semester system. And given 3 payment options. As well as available financial aid.
