The M.S. degree for graduates of didactic programs in dietetics (DPD) from Loma Linda University is specifically designed for those who choose not to pursue a standard dietetic internship but who wish to complete a coordinated master's degree and supervised practice experience in order to establish eligibility to write the registration examination for dietitians and become a registered dietitian. - Articulate the role of vegetarian dietary practices on human health, the environment, and ecology.
Possible Careers: The majority of RDs work in the treatment and prevention of disease (administering medical nutrition therapy, often part of medical teams) in hospitals, HMOs, private practice or other health-care facilities. In addition, a large number of RDs work in community and public health settings and academia and research.
