The M.S. in Management Information Systems Program is designed for professionals who understand the strategic value of information resources and the importance of managing these resources throughout an organization. Additionally, well-qualified Benedictine University students who complete an undergraduate B.B.A. or B.S. degree are eligible to complete a 4+1 M.S. in Management Information Systems degree with one additional year of graduate study.
The program's unique philosophy, integrative teaching methods, and commitment to individual development are the basis for the professional achievements of its graduates. This approach gives students the unique opportunity to interact with the larger group of graduate students in all of Benedictine's business and health administration programs. Students gain an appreciation of the complexity of challenges associated with the management of information technology through group interaction, comprehensive projects, case analysis, research and active participation in the sharing of individual experience. It is through this variety of teaching methods that students are prepared to be leaders in the 21st century.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of every college or university attended
- Official transcripts must be evaluated course-by-course by an evaluation company like WES or ECE
- Submit two letters of recommendation from individuals familiar with applicants professional experience
- Submit an one page essay about personal and career goals and how MBA can help in achieving these goals
- Submit a current resume lisitng chronological work history and academic degrees
- Personal interview may be required for the students
- Submitting official GMATvor GRE scores
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 79 in ibt;
- IELTS: 6.5
