With a Master of Science in Mathematics, you can advance your knowledge of applied mathematics, pure mathematics, and statistics, plus be introduced to independent study and research.
Many of our students who earn their master's degree choose to pursue their doctorate in mathematics immediately after.
As a master's candidate, you can choose a concentration in applied mathematics, pure mathematics, or statistics. You can also choose the thesis or non-thesis option.
Once you've completed your master's in math, you'll be prepared to pursue your PhD, teach math at the secondary or college levels, and use math techniques in different industries or as a researcher.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicants must have completed bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Submit official transcripts of all previous education completed
- Official transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES accredited agency
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 or equivalent
- Submit GRE scores
- Submit English Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 79 in ibt
- IELTS: minimum 6.5
- PTE: minimum 53
