Bachelor [Art] From Texas A&M University

The Bachelor of Fine Arts degree program is tailored to two groups. The first (BFA) equips students with the requisite skills to continue with graduate studies.? The BFA with an Education Certification provides students with the visual skills to pursue a public school art teaching career.? A Bachelors of Arts degree is also offered for students who wish to double major in another discipline or focus on a more broadly based liberal arts education. The art program is comprised of core a group of foundation courses that all art students must complete. This core group of classes also fulfills the fine arts requirements for university general education requirements. Emphases in graphic design, painting, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, and sculpture are available.
